Hi, Everyone,
Happy Thanksgiving!
A big thanks to all of you who donated food to the Feeding
Westchester and Pleasantville Food Bank Thanksgiving initiatives. Because of
you, many of our struggling neighbors will have a hearty traditional meal to
commemorate this day of thanks.
We all know that this has been a challenging year; one that
has brought the usual rhythm of our lives to a crashing halt. Our celebrations this year might be small, apart
from many of those we love, but we do it so next year no one will be missing.
And we really do have much to be thankful for. We're here; we've made it this
far. And it's been possible, in part, by all those essential workers who cared
for the sick, delivered our mail, processed our food, kept our groceries open
and our restaurants catering to our take-out needs so we could be
safe.
So have a healthy, happy, and safe
